Insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has secured a new club. The German shot-stopper will spend the upcoming season on loan at Ajax Amsterdam.
“Marc-André ter Stegen is moving to Ajax. The deal has been agreed upon with Barcelona and the player’s representatives. Ter Stegen will join the club on loan until the end of June 2027, with Ajax covering the majority of his wages,” Romano reported.
To recall, Marc-André has been with Barcelona since 2014. He spent the latter half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Girona but managed only two appearances due to injury.
