Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek. The transfer fee is reported to be £14 million, including bonuses.
Manchester United have included a buy-back clause in the contract. Additionally, they retain the right to 35% of any future transfer fee.
The Czech goalkeeper impressed during his loan spell at Bristol City, establishing himself as one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the Championship.
After completing his move to Boro, Radek Vitek said: “It’s great to be here. This is a new challenge for me, and I am very excited to become a Middlesbrough player.”
