Mikhail Mudryk Shares First Interview After Returning to Chelsea Training
Chelsea has published the first interview with winger Mykhailo Mudryk following his return to the team. The Ukrainian player missed 20 months due to a positive doping test.
Currently, Mudryk is preparing alongside his Chelsea teammates for the upcoming English Premier League season.
“Of course, I am very happy,” Mudryk told Chelsea’s official site. “A lot of time has passed, so being back on the same training ground is truly a joyful moment for me.
I feel good, I feel great. I am grateful to be back on the pitch. It was wonderful to see everyone again. I was warmly welcomed.
I missed a lot during the preparation process, training, especially matches, the chance to compete for victory and always strive for more.”
The Ukrainian also shared details about his training routine that helped him regain his form.
“I would say it was a kind of preseason preparation lasting 18 months,” Mudryk explained. “So, I trained hard. I didn’t give up and just tried to work with all my strength.
I worked six days a week, following all necessary recovery rules, sleep schedules, nutrition, and so on. Everything was as before, just twice a day.
My goal was to come back and prove myself again in the football world. That was my mission, and I knew what needed to be done. Only through hard work can you achieve something.”
