According to Italian media reports, AC Milan has submitted an offer to Arsenal for the loan transfer of England U21 international Ethan Nwaneri, including an option to buy. However, the Premier League club has declined to approve the departure of the young player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan manager Ruben Amorim remains eager to strengthen his squad with three new signings before the summer transfer window closes: one defender, one winger, and one attacker.

The source indicates that Amorim’s primary target is attacking midfielder Nwaneri. The publication claims that Milan recently proposed a one-year loan deal with a purchase option valued at around €40 million. It is further stated that this offer was not even considered by the decision-makers at Arsenal.

Previously, Arsenal was willing to loan Nwaneri to Marseille in Ligue 1 for the second half of the 2025/26 season, but that arrangement was a straightforward loan without any purchase option.
