Musiala Set to Continue Career After Successful Treatment of Absence Seizures
Jamal Musiala has successfully managed his recurring absence seizures. The adjustment to his medication regimen made at the end of August has produced the desired outcome, much to the relief of Bayern Munich and Germany fans, according to Bild.
Earlier in August, during friendly matches against RB Leipzig and Heidenheim, Musiala lost consciousness twice on the pitch. The player himself explained that he was diagnosed with brief, treatable absence seizures caused by neurological dysfunction. The flare-up was triggered by a temporary change in his medication dosage. After reverting to his previous treatment plan, the seizures were brought back under control.
Musiala has since completed a full match for Bayern against Union Berlin and is training fully with the team. The 23-year-old midfielder is feeling well and focused on regaining his usual playing rhythm. Club doctors and neurologists continue to monitor his condition but emphasize that with proper medical support, such episodes generally do not interfere with a professional football career.
