Several Italian and French media outlets report that Paris Saint-Germain has reached an agreement to sign Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. It is also suggested that the Japanese international might return to Serie A on loan with Juventus.
According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG has agreed to pay €35 million to acquire Suzuki from Parma this summer. Other reports indicate that the 23-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Parisian club.
However, Suzuki is not expected to be guaranteed a starting spot at PSG. With Champions League winner Matvey Safonov still at the club, alongside last summer’s €40 million signing Luca Chevalier, there are claims that Suzuki will be loaned out for the 2026/27 season to gain regular playing time.
Juventus is among the leading clubs interested in taking Suzuki on loan for the 2026/27 campaign, as they seek a replacement for Michele Di Gregorio, who has not met expectations.
Over the past two seasons, Suzuki has featured in 57 Serie A matches since his move from Urawa Red Diamonds for €7 million.
