Real Madrid has no plans to pursue Arsenal and Spain midfielder Martin Subimendi, according to Transfer News Live citing club sources.

Rumors linking the 27-year-old Spanish international to Madrid surfaced amid the collapse of negotiations for Rodri’s transfer, who is now expected to join Barcelona. However, Real Madrid currently has no intention of signing Subimendi, despite media speculation suggesting otherwise.

The club’s new head coach, José Mourinho, initially aimed to strengthen the midfield by acquiring Rodri. Given the current situation, he plans to rely on the players already available in the squad. Subimendi is not part of his plans.
