Sebastian Pocognoli Appointed Scotland Head Coach on Two-Year Deal
Sebastien Pocognoli, the former manager of Monaco, has officially been appointed as the new head coach of the Scotland national football team. The 39-year-old Belgian replaces Steve Clarke, who is stepping down after seven years in charge. Pocognoli has signed a two-year contract that will run through to the conclusion of Euro 2028.
The Scottish Football Association expressed its pleasure in announcing the appointment of Sebastien Pocognoli as the manager of the men’s national team. The Belgian coach has agreed to an initial two-year deal and will lead the squad during the upcoming UEFA Nations League campaign, according to the official statement from the federation.
