Wales captain Ben Davies shared his thoughts following his team’s 2-1 victory over Norway. This win marked the first success for the British side in the current UEFA Nations League season.
“We faced a very strong Norway side, and the challenges in this group are only getting tougher. After the last two matches, we owed it to ourselves and our supporters to deliver, and we did just that.
This victory will primarily boost our confidence. We’ve previously demonstrated that we are more than capable of competing against teams of this caliber. We had to do it for ourselves. There are top-class teams in the group, but we give our all, and today’s match was a reward for our efforts,” the player told UEFA’s official website.
