Stuttgart and Paris Draw 2-2 in Preseason Friendly Match
As part of their preparations for the upcoming season, German Bundesliga side Stuttgart faced off against French Ligue 1 club Paris in a friendly match.
The opening goal came in the 16th minute when Chris Führich’s shot was initially saved by Paris goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, but Lazar Jovanovic was quick to react and fired in the rebound to put Stuttgart ahead.
Early in the second half, Führich doubled the Swabians’ lead with a direct free-kick, showcasing his set-piece prowess.
Paris responded through forward Luka Koleosho, who first calmly dribbled past Stuttgart’s goalkeeper Marius Funk to score into the far corner. Later, in the final attack, Koleosho again outplayed the keeper and found the net, leveling the score at 2-2.
