Switzerland extended their winning streak in the UEFA Nations League by defeating Slovenia 2-1 in Lucerne.

The visitors stunned the home side early, as Zan Vipotnik scored in the 2nd minute to give Slovenia the lead. However, Murat Yakin‘s team quickly responded: in the 10th minute, following a corner, Jan Oblak inadvertently deflected the ball into his own net after a ricochet off Erik Janža, leveling the score.

Switzerland then took control of the match and went ahead in the 38th minute when Dan Ndoye finished off a pass inside the opponent’s penalty area. With this victory, Yakin’s side has secured nine points from nine possible.
