Newcastle United is set to accept Tottenham Hotspur’s £90 million bid for Sandro Tonali. Should the transfer go through, it would mark a new club record signing for the London side.
Once the deal is finalized, Tonali is expected to earn just under £300,000 per week, including bonuses.
Manchester City entered the race for Sandro today, but their interest came too late—both Newcastle and the player have agreed on a move to Spurs.
Tottenham’s initial offer of £75 million was rejected by Newcastle. However, multiple sources have confirmed that Spurs have returned with a revised bid estimated at around £90 million.
