Tuchel Acknowledges No Direct Replacement for Harry Kane in England Squad
England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel expressed admiration for the form of the 33-year-old captain, who is rapidly approaching 100 international goals. The German manager acknowledged that following the striker’s departure, the team will need to rebuild its system since there is no direct replacement for the Bayern forward.
“We won’t have another Harry Kane. We’re exploring different options and solutions. Someone else will emerge, but it won’t be Harry or a copy of him. We’ll find a solution when the time comes, though perhaps I won’t be the one overseeing it, and the process could take around ten years. He is a sniper with an elite goal-scoring instinct,” Tuchel emphasized.
