England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel revealed that he does not take calls from Premier League managers who hope he will rest their players, describing such requests as “madness.”

“I don’t answer calls from Premier League coaches. I’ve never called any national team coach myself,” Tuchel stated when asked whether clubs ask him to give their players extra rest. “It is what it is.”

Tomorrow, England will face Czech Republic away. Having lost their opening match 2-3 to Spain, they now need to make up for lost ground.
