England head coach Thomas Tuchel shared his expectations ahead of the upcoming match against Spain, scheduled for tomorrow with kickoff at 18:45 UTC.
“The more you analyze Spain’s game and their recent matches, the more you admire their defensive organization. They have incorporated that aspect into their style. It’s challenging for any team worldwide to create chances against Spain. However, we have a plan, ambitions, and we want to be the exception to the rule. At the moment, though, they are a very cohesive team.
As for Alexander-Arnold, he is competing for a spot with Jarrell Quansah. Jarrell played as the right-back against France and Mexico at the World Cup. Trent is ready to fight for his place. He has been a valuable and important presence in training during this camp. It’s not about words but actions. He will have the opportunity to compete for a starting position,” Tuchel told UEFA’s official website.
