Manchester United‘s new signing Yuri Tielemans has shared his thoughts on working with Michael Carrick’s coaching staff and their football philosophy. The Belgian midfielder expressed satisfaction with what he has observed so far:

“He wants to control possession and apply pressure in a specific way. It might be different from what I was used to before, but to me, it all makes sense.”

“It simply feels like football, and that’s what I have been doing since I was young. So, in terms of playing style, nothing really changes for me.”

To recall, Yuri Tielemans joined Old Trafford after Manchester United triggered the £41 million release clause included in the Belgian’s contract.
