Insider Nicolo Schira reports that negotiations for Rodri‘s transfer from Manchester City to Barcelona have entered their final stages. The deal is expected to be completed within the next few days.
The Catalan club has already increased their offer to €60 million, which is the minimum amount the English side is willing to accept.
Although Manchester City hopes to earn around €80 million from the sale of Rodri, it is more likely that the guaranteed fee will remain at €60 million. Any additional amount the club manages to negotiate will be included in the bonus package.
It is worth noting that Rodri has already agreed to a personal contract with Barcelona until 2031, with an annual salary of €15 million.
