Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca addressed the ongoing speculation regarding Rodri‘s future, amid widespread media reports linking the Spanish midfielder with a move to Barcelona. The City boss emphasized that he expects Rodri to rejoin the squad by mid-August.

“At this moment, there are no updates concerning his future. He will return to Manchester on August 14. Rodri remains a player of our club, and we are counting on him. He is currently finishing his break after a busy tournament, and we look forward to seeing him back at the training ground,” Maresca stated.
