PSG concluded their preparations for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Aston Villa by drawing 1-1 with Manchester United. The Parisians took the lead through Ibrahim Mbaye, who scored off an assist from Dro, but Michael Carrick’s side equalized thanks to a goal from Bryan Mbeumo.
Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi played the full 90 minutes for PSG. Matvey Safonov started in goal for the Parisians and made several impressive saves before being substituted for Longoni. The Champions League winners were slightly concerned by an injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. For Manchester United, Youri Tielemans made his debut, while Mason Mount was forced off due to injury.
