Zorya Signs Defender Vasyl Kravets with Spanish Club Experience
Luhansk’s Zorya has strengthened their defense by signing 28-year-old defender Vasyl Kravets, as announced on the club’s official website.
Kravets joins his new team from FC Kharkiv (formerly Metalist 1925), but he brings a wealth of experience from multiple clubs. A product of Karpaty’s youth system, he has played in Spain for Lugo, Leganés, and Sporting Gijón, as well as in Poland for Lech Poznań. In Ukraine, he has represented Vorskla, Dnipro-1, and Polissya.
The length of Kravets’ contract has not been disclosed, though Transfermarkt reports it runs until June 30, 2027. He left Kharkiv as a free agent. Last season, Kravets featured in 28 matches, scoring twice and providing three assists. He is known for being a tough, uncompromising, and agile defender.
