Ukrainian player Dayana Yastremska was unable to advance to the fourth round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing. She fell to Austria’s Sinja Kraus with a scoreline of 1-6, 4-6.

After a difficult first set, Yastremska managed to challenge her opponent in the second set but lost her serve at 4-5, which ultimately decided the match.

Despite her early exit, Yastremska had a strong showing in Beijing and is expected to improve her ranking from 111th following the tournament.

Later today, another Ukrainian, Daria Snigur, will compete for a spot in the fourth round.
