From June 29 to July 12, 2026, the prestigious Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament will take place in the United Kingdom.
Seven Ukrainian tennis players have secured spots in the main draw of this highly anticipated event.
An immediate highlight will be the Ukrainian derby featuring the country’s top-ranked player, Elina Svitolina, who will face Darya Snigur in the opening rounds.
The other Ukrainian competitors will meet the following opponents: Marta Kostyuk will take on Nadia Podoroska from Argentina; Oleksandra Oleynikova is set to play against McCartney Kessler of the United States; Dayana Yastremska will face Japan’s Aoi Ito; Angelina Kalinina will meet Uzbekistan’s Kamilla Rakhimova; and Yulia Starodubtseva will compete against Anna Blinkova, who is competing as a neutral athlete.
