Leading Ukrainian tennis players are showing strong form on the courts of Toronto. At the WTA 1000 tournament, Marta Kostyuk defeated Madison Keys, while Elina Svitolina overcame Anastasia Potapova. Both victories were achieved with clear dominance.

Kostyuk has now reached the fourth round of the Canadian tournament for the second consecutive season. She thoroughly outplayed the American, winning 6-3, 6-1. Marta’s next opponent will be Iga Świątek.

Elina Svitolina convincingly beat Austrian Potapova with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-1. Moving forward, Svitolina is set to face Amanda Anisimova.

In theory, Kostyuk and Svitolina could meet in the semifinals, but both players must first navigate through two more rounds to reach that stage.
