On August 8th, in the round of 16 at the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto, world No. 11 Marta Kostyuk will face off against former world No. 1 and current No. 8 in the WTA rankings, Polish player Iga Swiatek.

The match is expected to begin at 16:30 UTC.

In their head-to-head encounters, Swiatek currently holds a significant advantage over Kostyuk with a 4-1 record. However, given the strong form Marta has shown this season, there is reason to believe the Ukrainian could narrow that gap.
