EuroLeague CEO Chus Bueno has revealed that the NBA has yet to submit any formal proposals regarding potential collaboration involving the acquisition of the tournament, though his organization remains open to such possibilities.
“To date, we have not received any detailed materials from the NBA outlining what a potential partnership or cooperation might look like. Should the NBA present a concrete project, we will carefully review it and, if appropriate, present it to our owners. We are always open to working with the NBA or any other organization that can contribute to the growth of the EuroLeague and European basketball. Both parties have publicly expressed support for collaboration and opposition to further fragmentation of European basketball,” Bueno stated.
