Jazz Sign Jackson Hayes to Two-Year Deal, Lakers Lose Slovenian Teammate
Jackson Hayes will continue his career with the Utah Jazz after agreeing to a two-year contract worth $12 million, with the club holding an option for the 2027/28 season.
Last season, the 26-year-old center appeared in 66 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game. Hayes has been with the California-based team since the 2023/24 season.
Joining the Jazz, he is expected to be part of the rotation at the center position, providing depth behind Jusuf Nurkić.
Recently, Jackson obtained Slovenian citizenship, enabling him to represent Slovenia’s national basketball team.
