Kevin Durant strongly reacted to Houston's plan to limit his playing time

Kevin Durant, forward for the Houston Rockets, has publicly disagreed with statements made by head coach Ime Udoka and general manager Rafael Stone regarding the reduction of his playing time.
“Why should it be like that? I contribute more on the court. The team performs better when I’m on the floor. If we had already secured our objectives in the first three quarters or even earlier in the game, then maybe such a move would make sense.
But simply cutting my minutes because of my age or because I’ve played a lot of minutes… That’s exactly why I train — to play long, 48 minutes per game. If the game demands that I be there, then that’s how it should be,” Durant stated.
