Kharkiv Sokoly Sign Ukrainian Youth International Artem Romanytsia from Kyiv-Basket
Kharkiv Sokoly have strengthened their roster for the upcoming season by signing Artem Romanytsia, a player from Ukraine’s U-20 national team.
Last season, Romanytsia made his debut in the Ukrainian SuperLeague with Kyiv-Basket, where he became a key rotation player for the championship runners-up. Over 31 games, Artem averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per contest.
“Artem is a young talent who took a significant step forward in his development last season. He will bring youth and energy to our squad. I believe the next season will be another important stage in his growth,” commented Kharkiv Sokoly’s head coach Dmytro Zabirchenko, who previously worked with Romanytsia at Kyiv-Basket.
Currently, Artem Romanytsia is preparing to compete in the U-20 European Championship with the national team.
Earlier, Kharkiv Sokoly also signed two Kyiv-Basket players, Maksym Sandul and Denys Klevzunik.
