Lev Koshevatskyi, a defender, has signed with the Latvian club Latvian University (LU Basketbols), which competes in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. The Ukrainian player will wear the number 66 jersey for his new team.
Last season, Koshevatskyi was a leading figure for Cherkaski Mavpy in the Superleague, averaging 16.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
“I am excited to join the team and can’t wait for the season to start. I look forward to competing, improving every day, and helping the team achieve its goals this season,” Koshevatskyi said.
Koshevatskyi could make his official debut for Latvian University on September 23, when they face VEF away. On September 28, the team will host Ventspils in their next fixture.
