Panathinaikos dominated Paris with a 91-72 victory in the opening round of the EuroLeague regular season.
The 19-point winning margin marked the Greek club’s largest season opener in the EuroLeague since 2011, when they defeated Spanish side Unicaja by 21 points.
Fifteen years ago, Panathinaikos was also led by Željko Obradović, who returned to Athens during the offseason. Between 1999 and 2012, Obradović guided the Greek team to five EuroLeague titles.
