Panathinaikos will pay 1.5 million euros for the Senegalese EuroLeague star

Panathinaikos will pay Valencia €1.5 million for Senegalese defender Branko Badio. The club and the basketball player have agreed on a three-year contract.
The 27-year-old began his career at Barcelona before spending time with Frankfurt and Manresa. Since 2024, he has been playing for Valencia.
Last season, he played a key role in helping the club reach the EuroLeague Final Four and secure the Spanish championship. In the EuroLeague, he averaged 11.2 points and 2.2 assists per game.
Following the conclusion of AfroBasket 2025, he was recognized as the tournament’s top scorer.
