Phoenix lured away a key rotation player from Golden State.
Phoenix has signed defender Pet Spencer to a two-way contract.
The 29-year-old basketball player went undrafted and began his professional career in Europe in 2021, playing for Hamburg.
He later competed in the G League before earning the chance to debut with Golden State in the 2023/24 season.
During the 2024/25 season, Pet averaged a modest 2.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7 minutes per game. Last year, his numbers improved significantly, posting 7.2 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds over 18.2 minutes on the court.
