The Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly interested in trading for Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren, with trade packages possibly involving Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner.
Duren is currently at an impasse with the Pistons over his contract extension and is considering skipping training camp. After participating in the NBA All-Star Game and earning a spot on the All-NBA Third Team, Jalen qualified for a maximum contract worth $287 million. However, Detroit is only willing to offer him a deal of around $200 million over five years.
Both Sacramento and Milwaukee are open to providing Duren with a maximum contract immediately after a trade, although the player would receive less than the $287 million maximum available exclusively from the Pistons.
