Kristaps Porzingis Agrees to $40M Two-Year Deal with Golden State Warriors
Kristaps Porziņģis has agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $40 million to return to the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Latvian forward will have a player option after the 2026/27 season, allowing him the choice to enter free agency.
Porziņģis spent the first half of last NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks before being traded for Jonathan Kuminga from the Warriors. In 15 games with Golden State, he averaged 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game, shooting 43.3% from the field.
