Agent Reveals Bayern Munich Approached Dani Olmo Twice Before Barcelona Move
Mark Barah, the agent of Barcelona star Dani Olmo, revealed that Bayern Munich approached his client twice with transfer offers. The first approach came when Olmo was still playing for Croatian club Dinamo.
“He declined Bayern’s offer on my advice while he was at Dinamo. I told him he needed to take another step, and that eventually happened,” Barah explained.
Olmo later joined RB Leipzig in 2020, where he continued to attract interest from Europe’s top clubs. Bayern made a second offer to the Spaniard, but he again chose not to sign, opting instead to move to Barcelona in 2024.
“We chose Barcelona, which perhaps wasn’t the best decision at the time, but in the end, everything worked out well for him. He has won the European Championship, the Nations League, the World Cup, and ranks among the top ten players in the national team. His story is like a movie, and I’m glad to have been part of it,” the agent added.
