San Antonio Spurs Retain Veteran Harrison Barnes on One-Year $8M Deal
Veteran forward Harrison Barnes has agreed to a new contract with the San Antonio Spurs. According to Shams Charania, the player and the club have reached a one-year deal worth $8 million.
Charania adds that the Spurs highly value Barnes’ leadership qualities and on-court productivity. At 34 years old, Barnes has been one of the oldest players on the team over the past two seasons.
Harrison Barnes has been competing in the NBA since 2012. His sole championship came during the 2014-15 season while playing for Golden State.
