The trade of Domantas Sabonis to an Eastern Conference NBA team has encountered a serious problem.

Sacramento Kings are demanding two first-round draft picks from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for center Domantas Sabonis, according to insider Jake Fischer.
Previously, the Kings had put Sabonis on the trade block but are seeking a substantial return for the player. The Hornets have shown serious interest in acquiring the Lithuanian center but are unwilling to meet the high asking price.
Sabonis is under contract with Sacramento for two more years, worth $94 million. It appears the Kings may need to lower their demands in order to facilitate a trade for the center in the near future.
