Amid the ongoing crisis at ASVEL, where he serves both as coach and administrative head, Tony Parker is moving past the financial difficulties and uncertainties that shattered the club’s overly ambitious €60 million plan for this season’s EuroLeague campaign. In an interview with Legend, he outlined a fresh objective — aiming to compete in another tournament.
“My dream is to one day win with ASVEL and become the NBA Europe champion. That would be incredible,” Parker said, adding that he also views the competition as an excellent business opportunity. “I believe the best investment, if everything goes well, will be ASVEL in NBA Europe.”
Addressing ASVEL’s financial troubles, he acknowledged that “a tough decision had to be made, but the club’s long-term plan remains unchanged.”
