AC Milan Submits Official Offer for PSG Forward Gonçalo Ramos
AC Milan has officially submitted a transfer request to Paris Saint-Germain for striker Gonçalo Ramos, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
“Milan has already made a formal offer to the Parisians. Negotiations between the clubs are underway, with simultaneous consultations taking place with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes. The Rossoneri are pushing to expedite the process, as other European clubs are also interested in the forward.
Milan is determined to sign a top striker and has put forward an official bid to PSG for Gonçalo Ramos. The active phase of talks with his agent Jorge Mendes began within the last 24 hours.
Discussions between Milan and PSG are currently intense. Several other clubs are vying for the player, so Milan is not the sole contender. They aim to close the deal as soon as possible to provide Rúben Amorim with a powerful striker like Gonçalo Ramos,” MilanNews reports, quoting the journalist.
Since Rúben Amorim’s appointment, it has been clear that the Rossoneri are targeting a centre-forward who fits perfectly into the coach’s preferred 3-4-2-1 formation. Among the main candidates, Ramos’s name has come up most frequently — a player Amorim knows well from the Portuguese league.
The 25-year-old Ramos is a two-time Champions League winner. However, at PSG, he has often played a secondary role. Nonetheless, the Portuguese forward has scored 41 goals in 131 appearances.
