Andre Onana will spend another season in Turkey as Manchester United has once again loaned the Cameroonian goalkeeper to Trabzonspor, this time without an option to buy.
The 30-year-old’s future remains tied to the Istanbul club, which originally announced the deal with a video inspired by Black Panther. Last season, Onana featured in 33 matches for the Turkish side and helped them secure the Turkish Cup. This marked his first trophy since winning the FA Cup with Manchester United in 2024.
Onana joined Manchester United in the summer of 2023 from Inter Milan. After a challenging debut season, the Cameroonian international’s performances declined, drawing heavy criticism in England. He will now continue his career at Trabzonspor.
