Giorgio Scalvini, the defender for the Italy national team, has extended his contract with Atalanta, the Serie A club confirmed on their official website.

Under the new agreement, the 22-year-old’s rights will remain with Atalanta until the summer of 2031.

A product of Atalanta‘s youth academy, Scalvini made his first-team debut in 2021. Since then, the defender has featured in 144 matches, contributing eight goals and six assists.

In the current season, Giorgio has appeared in seven games across all competitions but has yet to register any goals or assists.
