Mladen Bartulović, the head coach of FC Kharkiv, shared his thoughts on his team’s defeat in today’s match against Polissya. The game ended with a 3-1 victory for the Zhytomyr side.

“Congratulations to Polissya on their win. Everything went their way today; they capitalized on all their chances. The first goal was a half-chance that disrupted our game plan. The 3-1 scoreline serves as a lesson for us, one we need to learn from.

Regarding the first goal, we had focused on defending such crosses. It was an avoidable goal that broke the rhythm of the match. The second goal came from a set-piece play leading to a 3-on-2 situation. It’s tough to come back against a team like that,” Bartulović explained during the UPL-TV broadcast.
