Following a dull 1-0 victory over Dundee in the opening round of the Scottish Premiership, Celtic unleashed their full power in an emphatic away win against Kilmarnock.
The visitors dominated from the start, with Kyogo Furuhashi netting a hat-trick before halftime. Immediately after the break, Mikael Lustig extended the lead to 4-0. Kilmarnock’s Søren Larsen pulled one back in the 56th minute, but Celtic sealed the emphatic 5-1 win when Callum McCowen scored in the 75th minute.
The reigning champions remain unbeaten and top the league table after this commanding performance.
