Celtic’s head coach Martin O’Neill has been hospitalized due to heart-related issues, according to recent reports from the Scottish media.

However, the club’s official statement reassures that the situation is not serious. They aim to calm public concern regarding the manager’s health.

“In response to recent speculation, we confirm that Martin O’Neill underwent a minor surgical procedure in hospital. We expect Martin to be discharged within the next day or two, and on his behalf, we would like to thank the fans for their kind wishes. We also ask for respect for Martin and his family’s privacy,” the Celtic press office stated, referring to the 74-year-old coach’s condition.
