Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo opened up about welcoming back Mikhail Mudryk following his lengthy suspension of over a year and a half.
“Misha is my friend. I stayed in touch with him throughout that entire period, so it’s really great to see him back. I’m genuinely happy for him, and you can tell he’s just thrilled to be here and to return to this environment. Of course, he’ll need some time to get fully settled, but we’re all here to support him,” Adarabioyo said.
“Misha is quite a character. I know he trained separately during his suspension and I’m aware of the guys he worked with, so that’s a positive. His work ethic is phenomenal, so I’m not surprised at all,” he added.
To recall, Mudryk rejoined Chelsea at the beginning of August and has already made a brief appearance in a friendly against Juventus. This marked his first game for the club in nearly two years.
