The Kazakhstan Football Federation has reached an agreement with Dutch coach John van’t Schip, who will take over as the head coach of the national team.
His appointment is expected to be officially confirmed soon following approval from the KFF Executive Committee.
As a player, John van’t Schip represented Ajax Amsterdam and Italian club Genoa. He also played for the Netherlands national team, with whom he won the 1988 European Championship.
At the club level, the 62-year-old coach has managed Dutch sides Ajax, Twente, and Zwolle, as well as Mexican club Guadalajara and Australian team Melbourne City.
On the international stage, van’t Schip has led the national teams of Greece and Armenia.
