Donnarumma Reflects on Special Experience Playing Against France in Nations League
Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma shared his thoughts with TF1 following his team’s 1-1 draw against France in the UEFA Nations League. The match took place at the Stade de France, where Donnarumma expressed his appreciation for the experience.
“It’s always a pleasure to return to Paris. This was a special game for me. It was great to see so many old friends. We played very well. The atmosphere at the Stade de France last night was fantastic,” Donnarumma said.
Reflecting on the game, he highlighted a key moment: “I think the toughest save was from Adrian Rabiot’s shot, but for a goalkeeper, every save is challenging. I’m very happy to have helped my team deliver such a strong performance,” he added, as reported by UEFA’s official website.
