Kyiv Dynamo was close to securing significant reinforcements from Poland, but ultimately two potential transfers failed to materialize, which would have been quite notable within the Ukrainian Premier League.

According to the Telegram channel “Insides from Pasechnik 2.0,” the players involved were Colombian Mene and Ukrainian Ivan Zhelizko, who has yet to feature at the senior level in his home country. Both players are reluctant to compete in the Polish second division, where Lechia Gdańsk was relegated last season. Moreover, there has been no interest from other clubs in signing them.

The possibility of bringing them to Kyiv on loan was seriously considered, but the Dynamo coach reportedly rejected the idea.
