Josep Guardiola, the former manager of Manchester City, took to Instagram to express his support for the club and its fans amid recent financial fair play allegations. The Premier League has accused the club of breaching financial regulations, which could result in relegation.
“I want every Manchester City fan around the world to know that I stand with you like never before,” Guardiola wrote.
“I have always supported, continue to support, and will always support my club, its owner, its chairman, Ferran [Soriano], the players, the staff, Enzo [Maresca], and you, our unique supporters. Let me be clear: we will get through this together.”
Guardiola concluded his message with, “I love you all,” followed by a blue heart emoji.
During his decade-long tenure at the club, Josep Guardiola led Manchester City to 17 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League victory.
