Brentford, a club from the English Premier League, has made an official bid to Italian champions Inter Milan for the transfer of midfielder Aleksandar Stanković as part of their efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report states that Brentford offered €40 million for the 21-year-old player. However, Inter Milan declined the offer. Additionally, Stanković himself is not inclined to leave the Milan club.

Aleksandar, the son of renowned footballer Dejan Stanković, spent last season on loan at Club Brugge. During his time there, he appeared in 55 matches across all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
